IFRA conformity of natural essential oils/fragrance mixtures

An essential oil is defined as a volatile part of a natural product, which can be obtained by distillation, steam distillation or expression in the case of citrus fruits. Essential oils are derived from various sections of plants. The oil is “essential” in the sense that it carries a distinctive scent, or essence of the plant.
The European Federation of Essential Oils (EFEO) and the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) has published guidance for the use and labeling of essential  oils.

We are happy to support you with the verification of essential oils/fragrance mixtures on the basis of IFRA and assign a complete list for all allergens which have to be labelled on the packaging according to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
